Created by award-winning educational software developers 2Eskimos, Reading Assessment has been developed specifically to help teachers assess and analyse children’s progress in reading and comprehension. The project included designing the initial branding, right through to the app, character development, support literature and website, including 93 icons for the featured texts. The app is essentially used by teachers but also has to engage pupils from Reception to Year 6, so getting the balance of the branding and imagery spot-on was crucial. This was a really interesting and rewarding project to be involved with and will hopefully help add another award to the shelf.
